Hi everyone, my name is Carley. You may remember my brother, Chandler . He was pet of the week a couple of months ago and got adopted right away after that! So I'm praying that the same thing will happen to me.
I've been here my whole life - five whole years! I'm a very sweet girl, but I'm a little shy. I'm working very hard to get over being shy with the help of one of our great volunteers. She signed me up for obedience class. Can you believe that?!? I'm very obedient....I'll sit every time for a cookie. What more could anyone ask? But I'm doing well in class so far and can't wait ‘til I graduate. I'll get a toy and a certificate to hang on my kennel wall. How cool is that!
So if you're looking for a really great dog, come on down to Dogwood Animal Shelter. Take a few minutes and wander through the kennel. I know it's loud in there (boy, do I know!) but it could really be worth it if you found your furever friend. I'd hate to think of someone like you missing out on someone like me to love.
